Turducken 2012!

Last Friday we celebrated our 5th annual Turducken Luncheon. All we can say is a big "thank you!" to everyone that was able to come out and celebrate with us. This was a fantastic day to be able to gather with our customers and fellow community members and we were truly humbled and grateful for the incredible turn out! With some 300 people in attendance it really encouraged us to come up with some great ideas for how we can improve on this event next year including adding a second serving line to ensure the flow can be as efficient as possible. No matter how you slice it this was a great time and a great experience that we will not soon forget and we thank you warmly from the bottom of our hearts for all your support and business throughout the years! USMC Custom Logo Sandblasted Sign

This project is easily one of our favorites we have done in recent memory. We won a bid with a unit on Camp Pendleton to create a custom dimensional logo sign for their main building. We agreed upon doing a traditional sand blasted sign that we really enjoyed creating. We used a mixture of hand painted elements and digitally printed vinyl graphics to complete the various elements of the sign and than installed on site with a custom french cleat mounting system. The customer loved the final as product as did we! 

 

NCTD Reflective Aluminum Signage

This is another kind of project we love. Custom safety or directional signage are some of the most common signs we produce and are a big part of the industry. Here is a new set of aluminum signs that we put together with digitally printed and UV laminated engineer grade reflective vinyl for North County Transit District. Simple, clean and effective!

Rancho Carlsbad Golf Club Large and Small Exterior Signs

For this project our customer wanted an updated look for their aging and worn signage. We were able to update their signage by creating all new vinyl graphics and applying them to aluminum faced panels and sign quality plywood which will hold up and make a strong statement for many years to come.

Large Exterior USMC Sign

On this project we updated an existing sign base with all new vinyl graphics applied to the back and a mix of custom contour cut aluminum faced panels and laser cut acrylic to make a refreshed and bold statement for the entrance of this units building!

Custom Hummer H2 Skid Plate/Grille Decals

This was definitely a very unique project for us. We had a customer who really wanted to add some American Flag images to his Hummer H2 skid plate and grille. So we mapped out the contour of the skid plate and grille carefully with a paper pattern and transferred those images into the computer where we recreated the shape so that we could digitally print high quality vinyl graphics to the surfaces and the results were amazing!

Sole Lab Building Frontage

This was another fun project we were able to do for Sole Lab. We were able to create this look using 1/4" thick, laser cut white acrylic elements with high performance digitally printed graphics applied to the circular element. By using high quality materials we know this is a frontage sign that will look great for years to come!

Vets 4 U Plumbing Vehicle Graphics

We were excited to be able to do our second van for Vets 4 U Plumbing last week. We always love projects like this as they always look great and they offer a fantastic advertising value to the customer!

USMC Wall Mat Graphics

This was a great project to have worked on. Our customer was in desperate need of some graphics that they could put inside their brand new training facility and we were psyched to help. This project was accomplished by using high performance cut vinyl graphics applied directly to the mats with large eye catching USMC logos. Simple, clean and effective!

Urban Wave Large Interior Sign

For this project we were able to combine custom cut PVC panels with high quality digitally printed vinyl graphics to make an interior sign that makes a huge impact. We installed this sign at the customers new San Diego location and while installing this sign was tricky due to working in very tight quarters, it was well worth it once we got to step back and see the final result!

QUICK-DRY Flood Service Vehicle Graphics

We recently won a bid to add graphics to Quick-Dry Flood Service newest fleet addition. This was an awesome project as the whole vehicle was covered in high quality reflective vinyl graphics. Reflective vinyl is able to reflect light which makes them great for vehicles that are going to be on the road at night. Not only do these graphics make your brand stand out no matter what time of day they also add extra safety as they allow other drivers to see your vehicle more easily. We loved this project and look forward to doing their next vehicle when the time comes!

Knuckleheads Pedestal Sign, Window Graphics, Spinner Sign

Just down the street from us is one of our newer clients Knuckleheads Barber Shop. They recently opened up shop and were in need of a logo and signage to get the word out about their brand new business in their completely renovated new barber shop. They were really open minded and had great ideas and were looking for an edgier look than the typical barber shops you typically see. So we created a custom logo that matched all the new energy and vibe of their shop and were able to make a cohesive signage package that included a new pedestal sign, window graphics and a custom spinner sign!

Oceanside High School Snack Bar Sign

This was a fun last minute project we took on last year. The Oceanside High School was in need of an updated snack bar sign and we had to get it up quickly before the start of their football season. So after discussing ideas with the customer we were able to come up with a finished project that everyone enjoyed. This project was put together with high performance vinyl graphics and  a mix of custom hand cut sign grade plywood and painted wooden rope border element that really help this sign stand out the way it should!

Red Cup Yogurt Interior Logo - Menu - Spinner Signs

One of our long time customers Red Cup Yogurt recently opened a new location in Oceanside and asked us to create some new custom menu signage, interior logo signage and some fun spinner signs that they could use at the new branch. 

Seaside Wealth Management Interior Signage

On this project the customer wanted an interior sign that was high end and professional. We were able to create this look by making a custom laser cut 1/4" thick acrylic backing shape w/ second surface printed graphics applied to the back side of the acrylic and raised laser cut acrylic elements applied to the surface for a very dimensional and rich look. We finished it off with some offset wall mounts and installed in the customers reception area.

City of Oceanside Lifeguard Sandblasted Sign

On this project we were asked to create a new double sided sandblasted sign for the Oceanside Lifeguard Dept. This was a great project as we were able to do some different things on this project such as hand painting and hand lettering the raised elements and installing with custom brackets. In the end this was another fun project with great looking results.

Pestgon Frontage Sign

We recently won a bid to complete a new frontage sign for Pestgon Termite Co. For this project we had to create a sign that conformed to the building complex's  sign code. So we made this frontage sign out of 3/16" thick aluminum backing piece with custom water jetted and painted aluminum text and custom bolt covers. This project was a nice and rewarding challenge for us and all parties loved the end result.

North County Pavers Van Graphics

For this project the customer had a great vision of what he wanted to do with his vehicle graphics. We had set up a photo shoot where we took high resolution photos of the owners beloved dog and used that as a center piece for this design. Was a really exciting project and is one of our favorite installs to date and is a great example of an eye catching design that effectively promotes your business everywhere you go!

Museum of Making Music Monument Sign

Another project we had a lot of fun with was the update of a museums monument sign. We updated this with custom 3/4" thick formed plastic letters and a 3/8" painted thick laser cut acrylic logo cut out.  

USMC Mira Mar Ribbon Board

These are another one of our favorite projects. We started making these kinds of ribbon boards a couple years ago now and they always look great. This particular board is composed of 1/2" thick MDO w/ high performance vinyl graphics applied to the fascia with custom changeable nameplates, 1/2" thick MDO ribbons w/ laser cut acrylic stars and decorative accents. We finished off this project with 4" painted steel square tubing than installed on the customers work site. 

Mira Costa College Various Vehicle Graphics

We recently won a bid with Mira Costa College to add new graphics to their entire vehicle fleet. This was a fun and challenging project as it was close to 15 vehicles total. This project included partial vehicle wraps like the Ford Sedan below, Box Truck graphics with large full color digital prints and work vehicle graphics like on the Chevy Van and Ford Truck at the bottom. All in all a great project with beautiful results.
